Maker Meetup

Have an idea but need some help figuring out where to get started or what creative technologies might help bring the idea to life? Have an old appliance or gadget that isn’t working, perhaps we could try and bring it back to life? Maybe you just want to bounce your idea off someone else? Drop in to the Dun Laoghaire LexIcon Lab where our Creative Technology Curator, Dr. Jake Rowan Byrne, other “makers” and members of the community will be there and keen to help out. We are also hoping to host a “Hackathon” later in the year, so come along to our maker evenings or get trained up in the basics at our beginner courses so that we can get your skills honed for what we hope will be a fun and exciting “Hackathon”. Don’t worry if you can’t turn up at 6pm, you can turn up at any point during the session to either see what others are workign on or if you have a question/project you need help with.
